Will treatment hurt?

What changes will I have to make to my lifestyle?

Our team will go through all the tips and tricks when your appliances are applied. Things to be careful of are some foods, drinks high in sugar and contact sports. Talk to our friendly team for options for a mouthguard if you need this.

Will I need X-rays?

X-rays allow our specialists to make informed and accurate treatment plans tailored to your specific dental requirements.  The x-rays allow our orthodontists to check the roots of your teeth, and detect any dental abnormalities that may need to be addressed prior to orthodontic treatment commencing.

Is the initial consultation obligation-free?

Absolutely.

Once you see our team and they have discussed with you your options for treatment, the choice is completely yours. We pride ourselves on providing you with the information you need to make an informed choice for your own orthodontic journey.

What is the cost of a first appointment?

Our initial consult fee is $145.00. We recommend clinical photographs and x-rays to allow our specialists to accurately evaluate your specific orthodontic needs and talk you through the process.

Talk to our friendly staff for more details on our fee schedule. Some of these items may be claimable with your private health insurance so be sure to bring your details with you on the day of your consult.

How long will my whole treatment take?

The length of time for any treatment varies however you can expect a typical treatment of Invisalign or braces followed by retainers to take around 24 months.

Our first step is always for one of our orthodontic specialists to take a look at your specific situation. If you have a referral from your dentist they’ll definitely take this into consideration but it’s not required.

Am I too old/is it too late for treatment?

Absolutely not!

It’s never too late to consult with one of our specialists. Our orthodontists will assess your specific needs and discuss with you options for treatment.

Is my child too young to start?
