Orthodontic treatment for adults

Many adults may think “it’s too late” for orthodontic treatment, or are self-conscious about how it might look.  

Braces are no longer the bulky metal brackets they used to be - they’re now smaller, easily fitting inside your lips without causing the discomfort of past appliances. Treatment during adult years can still be effective across a range of different conditions. 

Braces treatments have the option of the use 3M Clarity Advanced Braces, which blend in with the colour of your teeth or alternatively, speak to your orthodontist about the option of clear aligners such as Invisalign. 

While braces are extremely effective, they may not fit your lifestyle. This is why we also offer Invisalign clear plastic appliances. These are a virtually invisible solution that allow you to get on with your daily life without a fixed appliance like braces. 

Invisalign aligners are completely removable which offers less restrictions in food and better oral hygiene. It is important that Invisalign is worn twenty-two hours per day to ensure the tooth movement is achieved and the treatment is effective.
